What is Dump Truck Operator Safety Training?
If you’re operating a dump truck, you need to safely carry, dump, and spread a load. You must also back up the right way to avoid potential hazards. Our Dump Truck Operator Safety course covers everything you need to know to keep yourself, and your fellow workers, safe and secure at the construction site.
You’ll learn dump truck anatomy and the different hazards they present, such as back-over and tip-over hazards. Additionally, the course reviews best practices for maintaining and inspecting dump trucks.
Who Should Take the Dump Truck Operator Safety Course?
Although only dump truck operators are required to be OSHA certified, the information in this course can be helpful for anyone who works in close proximity to dump trucks.
